Product Specification/Models
The Bulgarian Rose oil is a fine fluid liquid, or heterogenous mass below 23 degr. Celsium. Its colour is yellow to yellow-green. It has marvellous, warm, floral aroma, specifically dense and fine, with faint peppery and honey notes, unique in its beautifull smell and unrepeatable in its richness of tones and scents.
As the world's most valuable essential oil, the Bulgarian Rose oil is an example of standard and quality by the common consent of the world perfumery professionals. 
The average quality of the Bulgarian Rose oil contains more than 300 macro and microcompounds, but the most important are its properties according to the Bulgarian State Standard (BSS) No ISO 9842 - 2006:

- Odour - typical of Bulgarian Rose oil 
- Specific gravity (density) at 30 degrees Celsium - 0,848 to 0,861 
- Refractive index at 25 degr. Celsium - 1,453 to 1,464
- Acid number (value) - 0,8 to 3,7
- Ester number (value) - 7,3 to 17,1 
- Acetyl value (ester number after acetylization) - 202,6 to 244,8 

B. Content of typical components (macrocompounds), %(by Gas-Chromatography): 
- Citronelol - 17 to 45
- Geraniol - 12 to 27
- Nerol - 5 to 16 
- Free alcohols (such as geraniol), % - 62,9 to 75,5
- Bound alcohols (such as geraniol), % - 2,0 to 4,7 
- N-paraphinic hydrocarbons (C17 + C19 + C20 + C21 + C23) - 14 to 33 % 

It contains also citronellol, geraniol, nerol, linalool, saturated fatty alcohols, beta-phenyl-ethyl alcohol, farnezole, terpinene-1-ol-4, acetates of the indicated alcohols such as geranilacetate, citronelyl acetate, neryl acetate, linalyl acetate, etc., free acids, aldehydes (fatty and aromatic), geranial, neral, ketons, phenols and phenol esters, hydrocarbons, rose oxide and stearoptene.
Since more than 3000 years the Rose oil is the finest essential oil used in the most valuable prefumery preparations and aromatherapy.
